We are very pleased to announce the release of the ApiDoc extension version 4.0.0.

This is a major release that modernizes ApiDoc for current PHP projects. The minimum PHP version is now 8.2, and dependency requirements were raised for nikic/php-parser, phpdocumentor/reflection, and phpdocumentor/type-resolver.

Version 4.0.0 adds support for intersection and nullable types, PHPStan/Psalm syntax, constants in interfaces and traits, inherited descriptions, improved method signatures, better inline @see and @link handling, and links to built-in PHP functions. It also includes a new template for custom projects.

Yii2 HTTP Client version 2.0.17 was released. In this version:

• Fixed TypeError: stream_get_contents(): Argument #1 ($stream) must be of type resource, bool given when PHP error reporting is turned off.
• Fixed the PHP 8.5 deprecation for the predefined locally scoped $http_response_header variable.
• Fixed curl_close() and curl_multi_close() deprecations in PHP 8.5.
• Fixed PHPDoc annotations for Response::$statusCode and Response::getStatusCode().

This release fixes bugs including issues with MSSQL, enhances compatibility with recent PHP features and versions. Our community members added types for PHPStan/Psalm through whole codebase. It is still work in progress but significant part of the framework is covered.

We've tagged Yii2 debug extension version 2.1.27. It fixes a bug of unnecessary usage of backticks in UserPanel resulting in inability to work with environments where shell_exec is not available. No security was affected.

It seems, we've also forgot to write about 2.1.26:

• Backtrace for internal PHP functions was added.
• Module::$toolbarPosition was added to configure toolbar position.
• yii\debug\Module::$authManager was added to select RBAC manager used by UserPanel (default is authManager).

We are very pleased to announce the release of Redis extension version 2.0.20.

This version removes logging of AUTH command parameters in non debug mode which may pose security issue. Also, it fixes one PHP 8.4 compatibility issue that was found since last release.

We have fixed a security issue in 2.0.50 but there were additional issues so complete fix was done in 2.0.52. We have not properly assigned a new CVE for it and considered additional fix as:

Bug #20232: Fix regression introduced in GHSA-cjcc-p67m-7qxm while attaching behavior defined by __class array key (erickskrauch)

That was not correct and now there is a separate advisory: CVE-2024-58136.
