Yii Runner RoadRunner version 3.2.0 was released. In this version:

• Add PHP 8.5 support
• Add spiral/roadrunner-http version ^v4.0.0 support

Minor version of Yii Runner RoadRunner package was released.

In this release:

• added temporal support;
• improved RoadRunnerGrpcApplicationRunner: added error handling, bootstrap loading, event checking, and DI container usage;
• raised required version of yiisoft/error-handler to ^4.0;
• changed PHP constraint in composer.json to 8.1 - 8.4;

Major version of Yii Runner RoadRunner package was released.

• renamed RoadRunnerApplicationRunner to RoadRunnerHttpApplicationRunner;

Configuration group names in runners adapted to Yii conventions and added ability to configure it. Make a few improvements also:

First release of RoadRunner adapter for Yii Runner was tagged.

Despite popular belief, PHP application doesn't have to die and re-initilize every request and, thanks to RoadRunner Yii3 application could work in "initilize once" mode. There are multiple profits in using RoadRunner:

1. Higher performance because all the framework initialization is done only once and the initialized worker may handle multiple request-responses.
2. Tight Golang-PHP integration via Goridge RPC protocol.
3. HTTP/2, gRPC, PSR-7 out of the box.
4. Easy to pack into Docker since there's no need for PHP-FPM. Responses are served directly as HTTP.
