HTML package version 2.2.0 was released.

In this release:

• Added nofollow() method to the A tag.
• Added itemsFromValues() method to RadioList and CheckboxList. The method sets items with labels equal to values passed.
• A third optional argument $attributes containing tag attributes in terms of name-value pairs has been added to methods Html::textInput(), Html::hiddenInput(), Html::passwordInput(), Html::fileInput(), Html::radio(), Html::checkbox(), Html::textarea().

Minor version of mutex package was released. In this version two new exceptions were introduced: MutexLockedException and MutexReleaseException. We throw them instead of less specific RuntimeException.

Additionally, the following adapter packages were released to match:

• File
• PDO MySQL
• PDO Oracle
• PDO Postgres

Symfony Mailer adapter for yiisoft/mailer was tagged stable.

It is relying on symfony/mailer to send emails and is recommended as replacement for now deprecated SwiftMailer.

As usual, it has 100% unit test coverage with 100% mutation score, and 100% type coverage checked with Psalm.

HTML package version 2.1.0 was released.

In this release Noscript tag was added along with shortcuts for Script via methods Script::noscript() and Script::noscriptTag().

Major versions of yiisoft/view and yiisoft/yii-view were tagged.

• View and WebView got fluent interface for their setters.
• View::withAddedCommonParameters() and WebView::withAddedCommonParameters() were revemod since view should be mutable in order for parameters to be cascaded into sub-views.
• Some metod and config option ranaming was performed in View and WebView. "Common parameters" became just "parameters".
• ContentParametersInjectionInterface was replaced with ContentParametersInjectionInterface. It injects parameters for both views and layout.

Version 2.1.0 of View package is released. Immutable methods View::withAddedCommonParameters() and WebView::withAddedCommonParameters() are now available to add extra parameters available in all views and their sub-views.

Mailer package version 3.0.0 was tagged. This version expands Yiisoft\Mailer\MessageInterface adding the following methods:

• getDate() - Returns the date when the message was sent, or null if it was not set.
• withDate() - Returns a new instance with the specified date when the message was sent.
• getPriority() - Returns the priority of this message.
• withPriority() - Returns a new instance with the specified priority of this message.

HTML package version 2.0.0 was released. In this release:

• Empty attribute values are not rendered anymore.
• New tags added: Em, Strong, B and I.
• null could be passed to Tag::class(), Tag::replaceClass(), BooleanInputTag::label() and BooleanInputTag::sideLabel(). Attribute won't be rendered.
• as() and preload() were added to the Link tag.

Fisrt version of mutex package was released. This package provides mutex implementation and allows mutual execution of concurrent processes in order to prevent "race conditions". This is achieved by using a "lock" mechanism. Each possibly concurrent processes cooperates by acquiring a lock before accessing the corresponding data.

There are multiple ways you can use the package. You can execute a callback in a synchronized mode i.e. only a single instance of the callback is executed at the same time:

Major version of yiisoft/rate-limiter package was released.

It introduces new package design proposed by kafkiansky:

• LimitPolicyInterface is there to easily change the policy of rate limiting i.e. while requests apply limiting to.
• StorageInterface is there to use custom storage for request counters.
• TimerInterface allowed us to rewrite tests not to use usleep() making them stable.

First version of email log target package was released.

This package provides the email target for the yiisoft/log allowing to send logs via email.

First releases of mailer package and its SwiftMailer adapter were released.

The mailer package provides the content composition functionality, and a basic interface for sending emails. Actual mail sending is provided by separate interchangeable packages.

First stable version of Yii View Extension was released.

The package is an extension of the Yii View Rendering Library. It adds WEB-specific functionality and compatibility with PSR-7 interfaces.

First stable version of View Twig Renderer was released. The package is an extension of the Yii View Rendering Library. This extension provides a ViewRender that would allow you to use Twig view template engine.

First version of View package is released. This library provides templates rendering abstraction supporting layout-view-subview hierarchy, custom renderers with PHP-based as default and more. It is used in Yii Framework 3 but is supposed to be usable separately.

First version of yiisoft/data-response pacakge was released.

The package allows responding with data that is then automatically converted into PSR-7 response using one of the formatters such as JSON or XML.

First version of yiisoft/rate-limiter package was released.

RateLimiter helps to prevent abuse by limiting the number of requests that could be me made consequentially.

For example, you may want to limit the API usage of each user to be at most 100 API calls within a period of 10 minutes. If too many requests are received from a user within the stated period of the time, a response with status code 429 (meaning "Too Many Requests") should be returned.

Cookies package version 1.2.0 was released. This version adds a parameter $encodeValue to the Cookie constructor and the Cookie::withRawValue() method that creates a cookie copy with a new value that will not be encoded.

First version of assets package was released. The package implements client-side asset (such as CSS and JavaScript) management for PHP. It helps resolve dependencies and get lists of files ready for generating HTML <script> and <link> tags.

Error handler package got its first release. This is generic PSR-15 and PSR-3 compatible error handling library.

The features are:

• PSR-15 middleware for catching unhandled errors.
• PSR-15 middleware for mapping certain exceptions to custom responses.
• Production and debug modes.
• Debug mode displays details, stacktrace, has dark and light themes and handy buttons to search for error without typing.
