Since the last release (Yii 1.1.12), we have accumulated 31 bug fixes, 39 enhancements and 6 updates. It's time for us to prepare for the next release: Yii 1.1.13.

Because Yii 1.1 has been widely used and it has received a lot of support from the community users, we decided to extend the end-of-maintenance date of Yii 1.1 to December 31, 2015. And if needed, we may further extend this date. This means we'll continue fixing important things, reviewing pull requests and answering questions about Yii 1.1, even after Yii 2 is released.

The first Yii conference called YiiConf 2012 was held on May 19 in Kiev, Ukraine. It gathered more than 200 people from Yii Russian-speaking community. Since it was in Russian, we didn't announce it at yiiframework.com. The conference went extremely successful. We hereby are sharing some information with you.

It's official now: Yii is on GitHub! We also switched to use GitHub issue tracker. Existing issues have already been imported into it.
