Portlets in Blog Tutorial Rate Topic:

Hi

I'm learning a lot going through the Blog tutorial, and have some questions about the portlets - while the userMenu one seems to work, the RecentComments and TagCloud don't seem to function... I dunno if there is code left out of the tutorial or if this is more a "work in progress" issue.

On another note, the comments seem to default to STATUS_APPROVED, but that was a simple fix in beforeSave.

Any help with the portlets would be appreciated!

A real portlet is NOT just a widget - if Yii portlet are really portlets then they should also comply with JSR 168 and JSR 286 standards...

I would like to know if the Yii portlets do comply or not? - As that will help to decide which way to go for us, especially as we invested quite a bit in portlet development
