Job Description – Sr. Software Developer
Client is seeking a strong software developer to create software. This developer will work in a small group of seasoned software developers and interfacing with the rest of the software organization who are working on the backend system… Occasionally this person should help, work, develop software modules which are interfacing with our onsite devices.
Technical skills:
-
Deep knowledge of LAMP stack and Tomcat

Experience with open source development products and tools
-
Java, JSF, Javascript/AJAX, CSS, XML
-
Ruby on Rails
-
User facing web applications, especially front end
Experience and education
• 7+ years
• BS in CS or equivalent
• Complete development life-cycle
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop, maintain software for data acquisition and device management in the solar industry

Create and maintain documentation, specification
-
Interface and work with software developers, product and project management
-
Interface with other team members in creating and maintaining the software specification.

Work with our Renewable Operation Center team members in debugging and testing.

Accurately estimate workload, create detailed work breakdown and schedule

Meet deadlines and deliver quality product

Conform to established development practice and processes
