Is there any roadmap to see for Yii??

It will be nice to see when new releases are going to see the light!!

I know developers don’t like to promise :) , so, even rough plan (without any obligations) and common rules wrt framework lifecycle will be indeed very useful,

We do not have exact roadmap. Our general plan is that for every one month or two we will release a service pack with bug fixes and minor features for the current branch release. And then every one year or so, we will make a minor version release (currently version 1.1 is set for Oct. 2009 release). Please keep an eye on our issue tracker for features that are going to be added to every release.
