I bring to the attention of the community of Yii developers the site www.addarte.it that I developed. It is dedicated to the interactive communication of cultural and artistic events. Users can insert the events (description, date and other details) and search for the events by category and distance from their home.
The core of the application (data collection, search and retrieval, …) is based on Yii while some less relevant parts are based on wordpress: the integration between the two platforms is transparent to the users.
My experience with Yii was excellent. I like it not only because it is powerful, performant and (nearly) free of bugs: for me the best quality of Yii is its logical and straightforward design.
