Yii 1.1 Extensions

I’ve prepared an extension I’d like to share with the Yii community. My experience with the framework has been great this last year!

I didn’t get any hits in the extension collection for the wkhtmltopdf library in recent searches, but a client request required a solution for producing PDF downloads for product labels based on form input data, so I based my work on the code published on the code.google.com wiki for wkhtmltopdf.

A couple of questions:

  • Should I include multiple versions of the static library that I’ve downloaded from the project site to allow developers to choose via config or object methods, or simply provide instructions for dropping in an alternate version of wkhtmltopdf?

  • How do I get my forum login to work on the Create Extension click-thru?

I don’t know if it’s 5 or 10 posts you need to have before you’re allowed to create extensions. :)
