Directly Assign Task To User

Hi friends.

I wonder to know whether I can directly assign a task or operation to a user or I should create a role for them and assign the role to the user?

I couldn’t find any special result by googling.

you can directly associate a user with specific either task or operation directly without create any role.

the hierarchical of task, operation and role are logical only, physically they are all the same.
