Integrating ZF2 into Yii - use case demonstrated

Created 3 years ago by BoazHow-tos2 comments – viewed 8,079 times – ( +10 / -1 ) – version 2.0
I needed to use a class from ZF2 in my Yii project. I've read probably all there is about this subject and still I needed lots of trial & errors to get it working, probably due to my lack of experience working with namepsaces and ZF2 in general. Also, the resources on the web are all partial, at best. Most simply refer to ZF1 where things are technically different. When I got it all working I decided to record my findings and that's how this article was born. The below recipe is what worked for me, accompanied by relevant comments. References: This article is partially based on this guide page. Be sure also to consult Zend Framework 2 documentation.

Yii2: How to create/develop a new extension using Composer locally without version control or Git

Created 9 months ago by Wade ShulerHow-tos0 comments – viewed 8,058 times – ( +3 / -1 ) – version 2.0
Using a version control system, like Git, is nice. However, when building an extension from scratch and loading it via Composer, it adds a lot of pain in the butt steps. You have to commit your changes, update composer to pull them over, then notice there is an error, fix, commit, update. repeat.. I don't want all my baby steps under Git. Sure, I could edit my commit history, but c'mon. Just let me code! I will put it under version control once I get a baseline created. This guide will show you how to setup your composer.json to load a local directory (everything inside, live). You make a change, save the file, refresh the page, boom.

In Yii community we have lots of extention can send emails, such as YiiMailer and Swift and so on, or even IMAPI, thanks for team contribution. However, sometimes, in the intranet enviroment, the program cannot run successfully since SMTP /IMAP port been banded. So you need to seek other ways. The most simple way is **call outlook** as COM.
