Hi all,

I have no problem installing YII 1.1.1 on Windows environment using XAMPP. However, I do not know how to do it on MAC OS X. I know MAC OS X has built in APACHE & PHP but I got a problem on installing PHPMYADMIN, so I used XAMPP. My questions are

1. Where would be the best to me to put the yii folder? In addition, what would be the ownership and permission to this folder?
2. If I put the webapp on the htdocs of the XAMPP /Application/XAMPP/htdocs, what would be the permission and ownership of the webapp?

I put the webapp on the htdocs of the XAMPP /Application/XAMPP/htdocs

and i have problem with permission... i can't execute yiic..
any one have some problem?
and solve it?

If you put it on /Application/XAMPP/htdocs, try to change the ownership of the yii folder to nobody.
