We are waiting for jquery UI 1.8 formal release, which should happen very soon.

We will decide when to branch out 1.1 later. Once it is branched out, we will have to keep feature development in trunk, which means new features will have to be released in 1.2 alpha.

oops, thought it was branch while you mean brand.
Unfortunately, I still haven't finished the site yet because of my limited available time (working on several private projects at the same time).
Last month, I hired a professional designer to design a new logo for yii. I also had him to design the web pages for yiiframework.com. So far, the logo is done, while the page design is only 50% done.
