I have created an extension to allow the access to the geonames.org webservices. For more information and download of the extension, please go to http://www.yiiframew...geonameservice/

At the moment the extension only handles the JSON services, the XML support will be included depending on requests and use of this extension.

Thanks for creating this great plugin! Just what I needed. Works perfectly - just always remember to register your own geonames account when testing though

I would like tell you guys that the library has been also adopted as one of the client libraries to use at www.geonames.org: http://www.geonames....-libraries.html -See the Yii reference
