performAjaxValidation How do i use this controller function Rate Topic: -----

If crud a new model i get a modelcontroller.php with a method called
performAjaxValidation($model)

how can i use this for ajax validation?

or what is this function for?

could anyone show me a way to use that function to validate my model via ajax?
