In Yii 1.1.x Gii would generate an ‘advanced search’ that would include a search form in admin view. This was a pretty convenient tool.
Now in Yii 2 a search form is also generated by GII but it doesn’t get included in any other view.
What is the best approach to use the Search form in Yii 2?
Also, another question: Do search fields on Yii2 gridview allow < and > comparisons? I can’t seem to make them work as well.
This was a simple thing in Yii 1.1.x. Probably there is another way of doing it now… Can you help me?
