Error installing composer-asset-plugin

I am trying to install Yii2 on a windows workstation and am getting the following error when I run the "composer-asset-plugin" install, per the instructions on the Yii download page:

Try a: composer self-update

Thanks. I tried that right after I posted and it worked after that.

Sorry I didn’t come back and report it. I got tied up with clients.
