Locale inheritance is not implemented in the framework because it involves directory searching and is thus expensive.
I see, thanks. But isn’t the guide a bit unclear then? I might get it wrong, but to me it says, language always has to be in LanguageID_RegionID format.
Yes, I had the same impression. This is true for i18n (see directory), but most of the current framework translations use single LanguageID.
