Yiic yiic is not recognized

yiic is not recognized as an internal command

Could you please inform us:

1. What OS do you use?
2. The command that you used and in which directory did you run yiic command?

hi my os is windows 7 (64bit)
cd c:\xampp\htdocs
c:\xampp\htdocs>yiic webapp myfirstyii

Are you sure 'yiic' file is in 'htdocs' folder? Or is it in 'htdocs\yii' directory?

By the way, you may want to check this wiki to get a greater flexibility in using yiic.

As you are using Windows, please make sure that you use the Windows Batch file (not PHP script file).
