The company I work for is a software company that provides software solutions for logistics companies.
All of our in-house developers are currently very busy, so we’re looking for some additional help.
We have a client that deals with shipping and warehousing. The initial project will involve managing the bidding process for shipping freight from suppliers to a warehouse. The user would create a client, and then create a project under the client. The user then would upload a csv of all of the Purchase orders, which we would then interact with an API that is already built to get freight quotes. These quote numbers can be manually adjusted at any time. After the client accepts the quote, the project starts, and the system needs to facilitate grouping items to be shipped, re-quoting the new shipment, creating the bill of lading and the pickup request. Obviously there are many more details, but that’s essentially the gist of it.
We’re still finalizing our specifications, but will have full wireframes of all screens and details on how things need to work.
All candidates must speak very good English, and be available for updates on a regular basis.
The project will be built on Yii/PHP/MySQL/JQuery and the code will be managed in git.
