This tool looks perfect! The only question I have is why it is named "yiimessagedb" and not for example "yiitranslate"? If I would google and found yiimessagedb I would not be able to figure out that it is related to translating yii apps in anyway.
Maybe you would consider changing project name?

I see the project has not been updated in a while. Do you think it is compatible with yii 1.1?
When I found out about your project I suddenly thought of a website I saw once that let their users update the translations themselves. Surely moderated, but I want to go that way too...

Hello,
yes it should be compatible with Yii 1.1
Also the project is open to everyone to join if someone has the time to improve it; at this stage it is not optimized and I would suggest to use it only as a development tool, not for final users.
