Hello every body.
what is the deference between Yii 2 and Yii 1?
as i saw, Yii2 have many changes.
dose these changes as much as we need to learn this framework again?

Dev team said they ll try to make the transition from yii 1 to 2 as easier as possible, so, no, you don't have to relearn the framework entirely.

But some components will have lot of changes, such as, active record

Ideas behind the framework are similar so you'll have to learn some new syntax and deal with changes but overall you'll have an idea about how it works from the very beginning.
