Envisage International Corporation owns and operates a wide network of international education websites, offering valuable resources and online tools for international students. The in-house development team builds, maintains and updates all of our websites and online tools. We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced web developer to join the company's talented programming team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or work equivalent plus three or more years of relevant work experience and be able to work in a fast-paced, efficient team environment.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a web technology discipline or the work equivalent
  
• Three or more years of full-time experience in web development
  
• Knowledge of source control systems and Agile development methods
  
• Experience with Yii or other PHP MVC frameworks is very helpful but not required
  
• Experience with HTML, CSS, Photoshop and other web design tools is helpful but not required
  
• Enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to execute and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  
• Excellent analytical, organizational, collaboration and communication skills

Job Description

• Job responsibilities will be varied but will include creating, updating, maintaining, and troubleshooting websites and web applications using PHP and major frameworks, especially Yii, as well as HTML, CSS, Javascript and major libraries (e.g. jQuery), MySQL, etc.
  
• Additional responsibilities will be based on the candidate selected but could include front-end development and user interface (HTML5, CSS,etc.), installing and adapting open source programs to company needs, search engine optimization, etc.
