Automatically Save Related Models

In actual version of Yii to save related models, we have to do it manually or install an extension (there are severals ones doing the job).
But wouldn't it be better if it was a built in functionality in Yii 2?

In Yii2 it, most probably, will be easy to implement so it's very likely that it will be there. At least at release time.

Alpha will be released when it's ready. Here's a roadmap (not very accurate but gives an idea): https://github.com/y...lopment-Roadmap

Then expect lots of changes before beta, then lots of stability fixes and only then a first release. I'd say it's like half a year at minimum for the stable release.
