100% Telecommute PHP Developer with IT Chops

Do you have serious PHP and MySQL experience? Can you jump in and get your hands dirty with a large collection of Linux servers powering a high-volume, distributed, enterprise web application?

We are XDAM (which stands for eXtensible Digital Asset Management) and we have an immediate opportunity to join our small-team. All work can be performed in a telecommute environment, from anywhere in North America! We use great collaboration tools to keep working together from home effective and engaging.

Our flagship product is used by leaders in Media, Entertainment, Advertising, and Publishing to provide secure archive storage and workflow management for all asset types. Clients include the Discovery Channel and NBC Universal.


For this position, you will need...

Strong skills and substantial experience:
- PHP/MySQL development
-communication skills (written and verbal)
-troubleshooting enterprise web application partitioned over two dozen servers
- performance tuning and load management

Even better if you'e fluent with one or more of these:

- Yii framework
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Memcache
- Solr/Lucene
- ImageMagick
- FFmpeg
