I dont know if this is a yii issue, but in my application if they log in like 2000 usrers at a time the mysql database goes down.

It is the first time that I have this trouble, and it is the first big application with yii.

Any ideas or suggestions ? :P

2k users isn't too many, even if they act totally simultaniously.

I suppose, you have read http://www.yiiframew...ics.performance already, so now it's time to do some server optimization.

What's the hardware and software used on server?
