Percona's very own Bill Karwin recently held a webinar on SQL injections and answered some follow-up questions in this blogpost. The slides of the webinar are available here.

I haven't had a chance to look at the recordings yet (in fact, I totally missed it), but the slides are looking good. SQL injections aren't a great deal with Yii unless you feed the AR implementation your own SQL code. In any case it is a good thing to educate yourself constantly about this attack vector.
