There’re no core Yii classes for managing images galleries.
You have to write this functionality by yourself or using one of extensions or third-party library.
yes for particular image gallery there no core class, you can use your own custom or any jQuery functionality.
but you can try This extension ( I haven’t use it but can suggest you after reviewing extension page ans as it also available on bitbucket. )
