Hello,
I would like to know now when are you planning to release new version?
And with new version, does it make any difference to my controller/models/views... well I want to know that is there anything that I would need to do while upgrading from current version to future ones...
Thanks
Revti Nandan

Usually upgrades in the 1.1.x branch are backward-compatible. Yii 2 will be a mayor update but is far from releasing, it's still at the planification phase. Anyway, you should always read the release notes prior to updating your framework folder, even more when your application has already made it into production.

Note: We are currently actively developing Yii 2.0. The earliest possible 2.0 alpha release may be in March 2012, but we cannot guarantee it.
