what's thge best place to submit feedback into?

Hi,

I’ve just finished reading the book. This is as good book and I decline joining the “tea party” in which the book is bashed. It has its shortcomings but all in all its at least a good book.

Having said that, I have gathered feedback while reading the book and noted down my own errata.

What’s the best place to submit this feedback through? This forum? email to author? packt pub site? other?.. .

Thanks,

Boaz.

There is the topic "Identified issues" where you can check if you found something new and add for future readers - http://www.yiiframework.com/forum/index.php?/topic/11920-identified-issues/

yeah, I noticed this pinned post but I’m not sure its the right place to post: how is this pinned post taken care of? I didn’t bother to read it and summarize all errors report there while removing duplications… .

Further more, anybody’s feedback, including mine, should be verified by the publishing house and only then concentrated into a single authoritative errata. This post seems like a loosy assembled, overlapping, unverified source of information that I’m not sure I could count upon.

Please correct me if I’m wrong in my assumptions above…

jefftulsa the creator of that thread is the author of the book… he will respond you better on this… but is seems that the publishing house does not have intention on spending more time on this book… http://www.yiiframew…post__p__127437

oh well, the fact that the book’s author manages that thread does have its weight, yep. I guess I’ll post to that thread and also send packt publishing.

Thanks for the quick reply!
