Does there exist a tool for documenting a MySQL Database? Sort of a wiki,
For example, Entering text to describe what each table in the DB is used for, what each field in a table is used for, etc.

Check out Chive at www.chive-project.com. It’s a Yii based app aimed at replacing phpMyAdmin and allows commenting table fields and other stuff.
MySQL Workbench has some decent documentation tools as well…It doesn’t really support multiple editors, but you could always put the mwb file under change control…
Yes, I recommend MySQL Workbench as well but thought he knew about it from the video in his post. These days I’m using SQLyog which is quite good but it costs me about $6/month through GoDaddy. Oh, well…
