Modify url for seo

Hi,

how do i modify the url to a more readable one specifically for seo purposes.

for example, domain.com/product/pid/3 to domain.com/product/adidas-running-shoe. adidas running shoes will be the title of the page.

another question is to change domain.com/user/uid/3 to domain.com/username.
