Yes. 
It was an assumption which didn't hold water, which shows how important it is that the Bugitor team (read: me) get the cork out and write some tests.
It is extensively tested in practice - being heavily used by two teams - but in practice you already have milestones.. So the situation never arises in production mode.

great, I always loved Redmine but I could never get it running properly (altough there are now hosted solutions like http://plan.io ).

Redmine - or rather RoR through Passenger - was the reason why I decided to port it to PHP. 
We (Ogitor team) were using - and still is - shared hosting. And grew extremely tired of Passenger crashes.
And thus Bugitor was born.
First CakePHP, but then - due to poor performance - later ported to Yii.
I'll tend to SVN, Git, Github and Bitbucket support.
It's on the roadmap, and I have spare cycles this month.
