Switchboard Communications, a small progressive political firm, is looking for a contract software developer to assist in maintaining and growing our current product. We are located in Washington DC, but remote work is possible.
We’re looking to contract a self-motivated problem solver with a strong background in PHP and the Yii framework, as well as jQuery and MySQL for a long term engagement, perhaps leading to hire.
Requirements:
Proficiency with PHP 5 and Yii framework
Proficiency with jQuery
Proficiency with MySQL
Experience with Subversion
Desirable:
Familiarity with Amazon Web Services
Familiarity with Authourize.net payment systems
Interest in progressive politics
