Question about XHTML support Rate Topic: -----

Is the plan for Yii to fully support XHTML or no specific standard at all? The reason I ask is that   is not supported by XHTML but instead   If Yii does want to fully support XHTML then i would like to get the CGridColumn usage of   changed to

That's just insane:
Do we really have to write those magic numbers when writing XHTML?? :blink:

Well, if it's strict XHTML with correct XML headers sent, then yes. Actually it brings a lot of problems and does not give any significant improvements if you are not going to use your own set of XML tags. It's better to use HTML5 nowadays.
