Our international education internet company in Neptune Beach, Florida, has an excellent opportunity for a full-time web programmer experienced in LAMP infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of relevant work experience and be able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Job responsibilities will be varied but will include creating, updating, maintaining, and troubleshooting websites and web applications using PHP and Yii, as well as HTML, CSS, Javascript and major libraries (e.g. jQuery), MySQL, etc. Equivalent experience with other, similar PHP frameworks will be considered. Additional responsibilities will be based on the candidate selected but could include Linux server maintenance and security (Apache Web Server, Webmin), installing and adapting open source programs to company needs, user interface, search engine optimization, etc.
