BTW, what I also like is the updates on Twitter. It really keeps me more in touch with Yii in general than only the new version announcements...

I do like the new site look, its very hip and cool. Also the color combination looks perfect and is very much easy on the eyes so I could brows for hours! I also commend the formatting because it really made the site look more modern and users surely enjoy navigating through the pages more. As a frequent site user I am looking to new enhancements/ improvements to come! More power to the site!
