Yii Framework for Social Network

I am finding some excellent framework to develop my own social network, i found Yii is on topmost of the framework. Is Yii is powerful enough to build a social network site? Does Yii Supports AJAX or JQUERY? I need a bit answers for these, i am newbie here and i am learning PHP.

Hi Salman,

yes ajax and jquery are supported (jquery is embeded in the core class collection). I see no reason why you could not build a social network with Yii.
